This test includes a 45-minute results consultation.
The Oxford BioMedical MRT or Mediated Release Test is a little different from traditional food sensitivity tests in that it looks not for IgG and IgA antibodies to foods (or true allergic IgE reactions), but instead for mediators that are released from the white blood cells, which indicate an inflammatory response to those foods. When results come in you will also get a laminated wallet card that labels your foods as Green (non-reactive), Yellow (moderately reactive) and Red (reactive). It tests for 170 of the most common foods.
This test is said to have a 94.5% sensitivity and 91.8% specificity (this means it has a 5.5% chance of a false negative and a 8.2% chance of a false positive).
When you order this test, a kit will come to you in the mail. You'll need to arrange for a lab to draw the blood for you and to bring that kit with you.
MRT Leap 170 Food Sensitivity Test
All sales all final. The lab does not refund me money on tests not run once ordered, and so I cannot refund you if you should change your mind. In the event you decide not to have your blood drawn, I will still honor your consult, which can be used for a health assessment or general health coaching.
